Holistic Mindfulness for Everyday Life

Fee: $125 + HST for 1.5 hours ($1000 + HST for 8 sessions)

Tap into the wealth of yoga techniques to reduce stress and insomnia, and to increase your sense of calm, wellbeing, and concentration. When we say the word yoga, we are often referring to postures. This 8-week series will introduce participants to yoga’s diverse toolkit, which is known to be even more powerful when used holistically. We will explore time tested breath work, relaxation, visualization, sounding, and meditation. All techniques will be explained with reference to both scientific research and the yoga wisdom tradition.

Chétana has been teaching and writing about yoga and mindfulness both in Canada and India for the last decade. She also has an MA in adult education and enjoys finding new ways to share kernels from the Indian wisdom traditions and to explore together how we can apply them to our modern lives in community.
